Spacious rental tents for easy family camping in the Mendip Hills

Our Glamphouse Safari Tents are a simple, spacious and practical way to enjoy a family camping break at Mendip Basecamp, without needing to bring your own tent.

These are not full glamping tents - but instead they give you a ready-pitched canvas base with proper beds, sleeping mats and plenty of space for a relaxed outdoor stay. They are ideal for families, friends and small groups who want the fun of camping with a little more structure and shelter already in place.

Each Glamphouse Safari Tent sleeps up to six people in two metal-framed bunk beds. Basic sleeping mats are included, but you will need to bring your own sleeping bags, pillows and bedding.

There are two styles of Glamphouse Safari Tent at Mendip Basecamp. Some have wooden walls, while others have canvas walls. All have doors and provide a practical, weather-resistant space for your stay. Each tent also has a bench outside, giving you a handy spot for meals, muddy boots, morning coffees or evening campfire chats.
